The only correct answer is get both. New Frontier Armory has assembled lowers for 99.00. Complete your Ar build as money allows. Check Midway USA for uppers that are on sale. Great deals are still out there.
I would never rule out a glock. Yes they are ugly, but so very durable, reliable, and accurate. I would also have to strongly encourage a J,K, or N frame S&W. They are beautifully made and there are plenty of nice used ones out there.

It probably had flues barrels and they don't mix with even the lowest powered modern shotgun shells. What a shame. This most likely could have been avoided with low pressure shells.
I would recommend that you hold onto it. However if you really want to sell it I would want $800 to $900 for it if everything is in near new condition.
