    Glock Sites

My favorites are Sevigney Competition sights, but a lot of guys like Heinie as well. Dawson's are pretty popular, too. The least expensive are probaly the Heinie slant pro sold at Midway for about $53. You'll also need the front sight tool for the screw.

Shipping a rifle at the post office

What do you do when they DO refuse? We have a new Postmistress and she has decided you need an FFL to ship long guns and even my local dealer is not allowed to ship a handgun back to Taurus!!! I'll be calling the ATF Monday morning to see if we can get things straightened out. I have shipped...

    Multigun in Ohio anyone?

See you there Coon. Here are the stages for this weekend. http://www.defensivepistol.org/2009PCSIMultiGunStages.html It may take you a little while to reload your hardware, but I'm sure it will be better than staying home. If you have any questions feel free to ask. There is a safe area at...

    Multigun in Ohio anyone?

What's proficient enough?? Only way to get better is to get out and shoot. There is no rule against lever guns, but you'll suffer a little on reload time. I bet it would still be better than staying home.

    Multigun in Ohio anyone?

March 29th is the date for the multigun match at Rayner's range. Registration is 9-11:00 AM and squads will form as shooters arrive. Figure on 100 rounds for each gun and it would be a good idea to bring extra. It's looking like 7 or 8 stages, so there will be a whole day of shooting...

New version of the Hornady LnL AP coming out

Good, now I'll have to watch out for a good deal on another used LNL. The ejection problems haven't really been much of an issue for me, but the new design does look pretty good.

    Ipsc Question

Ranges surfaces and props would be the main obstacles. Most of the time fault lines and shooting boxes are constructed of 2x2s and there are lots of times you need to lean around a barricade or over a wall, which could also be a problem. The Steel Challenge, bowling pin matches, etc. might be a...

    Have a Question-um- What is a 3 gun match

Here are some You Tube videos. 3 gun or Multigun is about as much fun as you can have. Typically in a 3 gun match you use one gun at a time. In multi gun you may use all 3 on a stage. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=multigun&search_type=&aq=4&oq=multig

    3-gun/multigun stage design

I have a hard time believing a checkbook wins a match. How about an example of how a JP rifle can beat a DPMS? Is a Benny Hill Benelli M2 really going to make a big enough difference to leave everyone in the dust? The better shooter is going to win. Pick a set of rules and stick to them. Puting...

Buy what's cheap. If you are shooting an auto it might make a difference on which brand your gun will cycle.

    O/U Recoil vs Rem 1100

Stick with the 1100. It's as soft shooting as just about anything. The low end O/U can be a crap shoot as far as getting a good one.

    Have you seen my wife?

You'll be doing yourself a favor to have the strongest, most rigid table possible for your press. Everything else can sit on a card table, but do all you can to mount the press solidly.
