hit a home run buying 8 lbs of Titegroup.

You are right, I have used titegroup in 9, 45, 38, 357 and now 44. Meters well and doesn't take much. My 9 and 45 cases were always a bit sooty but 44 mag cases are clean. I'd have a hard time not using it.

For a plinker I like 8 grains of Unique. For general use I like 21 grains of 2400. And for top results I like 23 grains of H110.

Throw titegroup as a plinking round there I am completely with ya. I'd use lswc for all but 110 which get xtp's

I don't doubt it works fine, but just don't have enough experience with it in the .44 to be able to offer any worthwhile opinions!
