It is a drop-in fit, although I have heard one person say that there was a bit of sanding required to fit the part. The installation is certainly within the ability of all but the most mechanically challenged gun owners.
After installation, you can expect a very crisp trigger pull in the 2.5-3.5lb range. Mine came out a bit lighter than that...
