Any unusual accidental discharges?

When I was a kid, after a deer hunt I had a Remington Mohawk 600 go off when I moved the safety to "fire" to unlock the bolt for unloading. Nobody was hurt but me. I wasn't shot either. My dad was so angry at my "carelessness" that he punched me in the face. Mohawk 600's were later part of a recall for this defect.

The president of my hunting club, who is very safety conscious, was blackpowder hunting with another man. At the end of the hunt, he took the cap off the nipple and put the gun into the truck with the muzzle down in the floorboard. The friction from rubbing against the seat set the powder off and put a ball into the engine block.
