The 85F is more valuable than the M&P 40,,,

The 85F is more valuable than the M&P 40,,,
At least it is if you go by the original purchase price.

New M&P's run in the vicinity of $450.00,,,
New Model 85's run in the vicinity of $650.00,,,
If I didn't want the Beretta any more I would sell it,,,
Then use the cash to buy the lesser priced M&P plus lots of ammo.

The other thing to consider is that Beretta discontinued the sales of entire Cheetah line,,,
At that time the perceived value of Models 84, 85, & 87 jumped quite a bit.

If I had an M&P and found someone who would trade straight across for a Beretta 85,,,
I would trade in a heartbeat then sell the Beretta for cash,,,
Then use some of the cash to buy another M&P,,,
And pocket the difference.

From a utility perspective, the M&P is the superior firearm. From a quality and class perspective, the Beretta is more desirable. I'd trade my M&Pc for a NIB 85F any day of the week. Utility is easy to find, quality in form, function and design, a bit more elusive.

Nice trade,,,

Nice trade,,,
At least I think so.

Now you need to get out there and shoot that puppy,,,
I predict that you will be amazed at how well it will perform for you.
