I found the top revolver AT A GUNSTORE priced at $125 among all the blackpowder pistols. It's a .357magnum. I asked about the price, was rudely assured by the owner's smart aleck kid that it was right, so I bought it, a Cimarron Thunderer NIB for $125. Hell, I felt so bad about the deal that I went back later and bought the one below it, a .45LC with a .45ACP cylinder for $130. (I then installed the grips that are on it now) Heck, I don't even do the cowboy shooting thing, and THAT was to good to pass up!
Inheirited. A 1910 double digit Luger.
$25, but the gun was totally disassembled and in a cardboard box.
Worst Deal.......
S&W/Walther PPK/S for my wife, new. I knew better, but when she decided to learn to shoot, I wanted to get her the gun she wanted. She was unable to chamber a round reliably, and the gun had feeding problems. I got $300 for it as a trade-in, mainly because the grips were cracked NIB, and I had replaced them with stags.
Worst Deal Runner-up......
A Glock 26. It was reliable until the rear sight started moving to the right in the first fifty rounds. Thankfully it was a used gun, and I was shooting it prior to purchase. I refused it, and moved on. It was halfway accurate if you thumbed the rear sight over every shot.
