Highroaders,

I recently picked up a couple of Butler Creek "Hot Lips" 25rnd magazines for my 10/22, and am having problems with them. About 90% of the time, the follower will get stuck when all but 4-5 cartridges have been expended. When it does that, I have to shake the gun to make it feed.

Is this a common problem? If so, how might I go about fixing it? I've heard good things about BC mags elsewhere, and I can't believe that I got stuck with two lemons.

Help!

Honestly, I'd be weary of any mags sold under the title "Hot Lips". :)

Assuming the 10/22 you have is already broken in and you're using ammo that you know works in that gun, you should probably email or call Butler Creek for customer service. Could simply be bad mags.

The problem with the Hot lips mags are that they have plastic lips that can wear and cause feeding problems.

I have the Steel lips mags and feed great, i would get some of these and a quick loader for them.
