I Have Two Stories About CCW and Lartrines-
In the first, a U.S. Marshal friend of mine entered the
stahl;
removed his firearm, and got comfortable
on the toilet seat. After completing his business and
redressing; he forgot to retrieve his firearm!
Luckily, when he discovered he was "naked" and went
back for his weapon; it was still there, right where he
had left it.
The second story is of a uniform patrol officer who
hurriedly entered a stahl, removed his Glock 17 from
his duty rig and hangs the weapon on the coat
hangar attached to the rear of the door. Then he
proceeds to shut the door in a rapid fashion; and
the Glock begins to descend towards the floor. Its
unknown whether or not the officer's finger got
caught inside the trigger guard; or if he grabbed
the weapon* as it begin to fall? But at any rate, the
9m/m discharged sending a W-W 147 grain "Black
Talon" JHP into the shower area. Since in occured
at approximately 0900 hrs, there was no one taking
a bath. The officer was so shook-up he retreated for
his residence for the remainder of the shift!
*If this occured, the the firearms trigger guard most
likely was still over the coat hangar; and when the
officer reached for the weapon Glocks "Safe Action"
firing cycle was activated.
