Kicking around the idea that I want a nice varmint or "tactical" style rifle and to keep the wife happy, I will need to trade or sell my last AK.....
I bought this like new Polish Underfolder kit years ago from a vendor off the FAL files. I bought a Polish underfolder receiver with all the correct cuts and dimples and had Blackwell arms assemble and test fire it for me. It is by far the nicest Polish under folder I have seen.....unless you have a brand new one stashed away someplace. I have several Bulg. 40 round waffle mags and several 30 rounders also. plenty of ammo etc etc.
Problem is I just dont shoot it that much. It got me thinking about why not trade it or sell it and buy a nice Rem 700 sps tactical or VLS varmint and enjoy target shooting like I used to do. I think I am just hanging on to the Polish AKM for that SHTF scenario however so slight in the back of my head.
What to do? I mean I have other defensive weapons like my 870 with 19" brl with flashlight and it holds 7 rounds. I also have a 10/22 that is dead accurate and an Ithaca LSA-55 .308 but it is an heirloom and I hate to shoot it much.
Anyone have a like new .308 bolt gun with heavy brl sitting around?
Looking to get some other peoples perspective on this one before I get rid of the AKM and regret it later....:banghead:
