I've had a C&R since August. Wish I'd known about this 20 years ago.
Three good sources of info:
http://www.fo.com/firearms/sgn-cr.htm
http://www.cruffler.com/
http://www.surplusrifle.com/
On the surplus rifles site, there is a button on the left the says "C&R License". Click on it and it will take you step by step through the application process.
