This morning I swung by the local gun shop a few blocks from my apartment and there was a line of about 30-40 people outside the door. I parked and got in line and it didn’t move for around 10 minutes, but I overhead several people leaving the shop saying all ammunition was out of stock.
I sighed and left.
The ammo shortage is just beginning, unfortunately. I read that Russia supplied 40-45% of the US ammunition market. This is having TREMENDOUSLY NEGATIVE effects on the entire ammo industry right now, which was already crippled from the covid panic.
I have a CZ-452 bolt action .22 with single shot adapter. It’ll probably be the only gun that sees any range time in the coming months.
