The Lions were targeted originally in the 1980's. This is much later than that. Is this unfair? Does he like our efforts to prevent blindness in the middle east and Africa? Perhaps. But not likely.

This does assume, of course, that he his Hezbollah. With that assumption from the OP, then I know what I see.

You're giving a man credit for a Hungarian AMR69. Assuming he is Hezbollah...he's likely to have lost his hands bombing unsuspecting folks in a cowardly fashion. People like him will start World War III based on their religious superstitions. He's a pawn of those that use religion for wealth or power. I view him with contempt.

He also has bad taste in rifles. :neener:

OK folks, this is Rifle Country. A little off-topic discussion is usually tolerated; but one that manages to work both politics and religion into it is going to be short-lived if it doesn't come back on topic soon.

How is he going to change magazines?

With the adaptions that are visible, there may be unseens.
How about if he hooked up his shirt and had some special magazine holster
mounted at the waist?
In addition to firing the weapon, it lookes like he could easily remove an empty magazine.

Definitely a guy you want to approach from his right side if you have to shade him (if you can't come at him from his six).

Using a paddle release has got to be a serious PITA. He should consider upgrading to something that uses a push-button style magazine, a la M16...

He's probably a major thief. Minor theft will result with the loss of fingers. Major theft with the loss of a hand.

Part of the charm of this lovely custom is that they always take the right hand first. This is because they eat with their right hand and wipe their rears with their left. With the loss of the right hand they have to eat with the same hand that wipes. He probably committed another crime and lost another hand.

Major crimes (murder, drug dealing) result in the loss of your head. When i was in Saudi Arabia, you could go down to the main square every Friday at noon and watch the beheadings. Or watch it on local TV. But that's just for men; women get bound and dropped on their heads from a tower.

Pfft, this picture is a hoax. Look at the clean shirt! He's even posing for a picture!

Where are all the naysayers this time?

Yeah, it's not like the other photographs doctored up or faked...like this Reuters photo...

On the topic of the rifle, do the Century imports that have the same FSB setup feature the original Romanian long flash hider permanently attached or is it something different? I notice it does have a similar pattern of holes to the Century guns.

I made a mistake. It is a Hungarian gun BUT you can buy Romanian guns that are fashioned similarly.

I'd go with former bombmaker rather than thief. Losing your hand to the swordsman is a death sentance (by starvation), losing one making bombs for jihad's something else.

Wouldn't he eat and wipe with the same hand, regardless which was removed?

After the removal of the right hand, yes. But that's the point, forcing someone to eat with an unclean hand.

It's not a matter of whether the individual is naturally left handed or right handed. It's a cultural matter that compels one to use different hands for the different tasks.
