And it's name is the Kittery Trading Post!
Went up there today, had the wife drop myself and the Boy off at the Kittery Trading Post, becasue I knew they had some sort of gun selection there that I could look at while she bought shoes for the kids.
I'm used to small gun shops in Massachusetts, a few racks of rifles, a case or two of handguns, and that's it. This place was different.
As soon as I walked in, I saw loooooooong double sided racks, stuffed with all sorts of long guns (Mostly hunting type stuff, no EBRs or milsurp) but there were hundreds, maybe thousands of them...I don't know... a lot.
Looking to the other side of the room (big, big room) I saw racks of more rifles- they had racks stuffed full of black powder rifles too- and the handguns!
Cases and cases and cases of handguns there, including all the ones I can't legally buy here in MA. My 4 year old son started to fakie-cry becasue he couldn't hold a little Kel-Tec .32 that I was looking at. He was very interested in the handguns, but I figured the store wouldn't want the 4 year old handling the guns. We sized him up for a rifle though, and tried out several kids models that were on the racks.
It was such a fantastic place, I can't wait to move to either NH or Maine.
