To begin with, I own 3 Glocks and 2 Kahrs, this is not intended to "flame" anyone, this is simply a personal observation.
Does anyone other from me find the all stainless steel Kahr K40 to be superior to the Glock G27 and G23?
The Kahr trigger action is much better, the grip is at a more comfortable angle, the grip itself is much more comfortable (rubber wrap-around). The entire piece seems to be of superior quality. It feels more like what a strong pistol should feel like, IMHO. Although it is slightly heavier, the Kahr conceals much better than the Glocks. The extra weight brings the sites to bear much more quickly during "two tap" rapid firing, the standard Kahr sight pattern is superior to the Glock's. I find Glock's two piece "safe action" trigger to be annoying during long range sessions it actually makes my fingertip sore. At the end of a long range session, ie more than 150 rounds, my wrists and arms are much less sore when shooting the Kahr as compared to shooting the G27 or G23. Also the Kahr is more accurate, for me. You may have different results.
If you have the hardware available, as I did, take a Kahr K40 and a Glock 23 to the range and shoot 50 rounds through each. Shoot the entire 50 through one and then move on to the other. I found the Kahr to be vastly superior to the Glock.
If there is a disadvantage to the Kahr, it would it's weight, the fact that it carries three less rounds and it is slightly more expensive. But it sure shoots better, in my opinion.
Love my Glocks but I have to admit the Kahr is better all around.
