Large Bore Snub Nose?

My cutdown 1917 is lighter than a similar sized K or L frame with underlug. I think it has something to do with the big holes in it.:)

This Ruger .44 Special Sheriff's Model has just a slightly longer barrel, and a similar holster by Sparks.

You guys impress me if you can conceal those hog legs!

It's easy. First, use a gun belt that will hold up the gun and not allow it to flop back. Second, a holster with lots of forward cant will reduce printing. Finally, the stocks should not extend too far below the bottom of the frame. Don't use rubber grips; checkered wood stocks won't rub against the body and don't "grab" clothing. Reloads are carried in Safariland COMP loaders in #371 Safariland holders.

I double the choice of the Colt Lawman .357 snubbie. Its like a M80 going off in front of you but its controllable.

Some dang big holes right there in that customized S&W! Tell us about it! Thanks

What, that little pea shooter?

That is a 22-4 with the ruined OEM barrel removed, and a 2" Stainless .45 ACP barrel and Unfluted .45 ACP cylinder fit. Ball detent assembly installed for proper lockup. That was a PITA to track down the correct Company. I had Dave at Defensive Creations in Alliance, OH put her together after I tracked down the parts. I did not have him do any outside blending work, though.

She is as tight as a drum. I think he consulted with the gunsmith over at SDM Fab. If you handle it, it's pretty darn kool.

righteoushoot___ I like it...thanks for the info!

A sincere thank you. On another note, I am thinking about having Dave hook me up with an AMD-65 like the one on his website (http://www.defensivecreations.com). I handled that exact gun, pretty darn sweet. Finally tracked down a pristine base gun for it. Or maybe a Delta Elite 10mm if I find a worthy base gun….God, I am ill!

Anyway, don't want to sidetrack this thread.

The L framed 242 and 296 are plenty light but rather bulky, the kydex holster I have for them is still bulky so these clip draws eliminate the holster and go a long way toward comfort and concealment.

I looked a long time for this combination of Pug, stainless and factory bobbed hammer. It just looks right.

Another thread got me thinking.
Most of my wheelies are Smiths and was thinking I need a snub nose. I have several 4" or longer 357's. I want a large bore snub nose for CC. I prefer SS but I do love some good bluing.
So let's see what y'all suggest and pictures don't hurt at all.
Well if a 3 inch is a snub...

The one on the right is a 625-2 .45 ACP.

With .45 ACP ammo is shoots one hole groups at 10 yards.

And it also handles .45 Supers fine.
