Legality of zombie "killing"

LeMat... the only more awesome thing would be an 12 g revolver....
(though.. it would be a pretty dangerous weapon. Not to mention the authorities wouldn't like it)

During a major zombie outbreak, one could pretty much kill anyone and probably get away with it. Did you ever see the end of "Night of the Living Dead" (1990)? She shoots the antagonist in the head. Think about it. You could shoot your annoying neighbor, your ex-wife, the teens in the neighborhood who play their music too loud, and simply say "oh they were zombies!" A corpse is a corpse during a zombie crisis.

BOOM!

"Homer! You just shot the zombie Flanders!"

"Flanders was a zombie?"

One guy claimed he was a vampire.. so me and some fellow students tried to conduct an experiment whether he can "live" without oxygen (belt around the neck)
Went very red ...
Lasted 30 secs.. we released it when he started to look a bit blue.
No lasting damage apparently

Zombies....

There is a really good UK comedy about them "Shaun of the Dead"..
In a time of crisis a hero must rise...from his sofa.

Preferred methods of zombie disposal are shovels and cricket bats. Old vinyl records too.

Ok, so what about Werewolves. In the first Howling movie (and some others
I can't currently recall) even people who had been killed came back as Werewolves.
That would make them undead. Now here is the kicker:

1) Would they have the endangered species act protecting them while in their
wolf-like form.

2) If they died and came back as a Werewolves would it only be legal to
kill them in their human form if they had the above mentioned protection?

Werewolves aren't undead.. they are simply lycanthropes..
(usually a magical curse .. )

Werewolves used to be common in Bohemia just after WWII...
Police tangled with them.

Well thanks alot guys, I was reading this thread last night before I went to sleep and guess what?

I had a zombie dream! That's my first ever me vs zombies dream.

Personally I agree that since zombies are supposed to be dead, and they aren't in their appropriate place (the graveyard) I would go ahead and consider them an invasive 'problem' species, and therefore all you need is a small game license (if you are on someone else's property) or no license at all if on your own property. Blast away. As for hunting down your neighbors who may or may not be zombies; I suppose you might need the landowners permission to hunt on their land, and I doubt that they would give you permission to hunt them in their own homes so maybe that might be a problem, poaching or something. Now, if they shamble onto your land however....

:::goes out and finds some more 12 ga shells in case of a zombie outbreak:::

Go check out the Drudgereport today about the legality of interacting with dead things. :barf:

I will not say more.
