I just picked up a Micro Desert Eagle and found no mention in the manual of recoil spring change intervals. I contacted MRI and they gave me the not so helpful answer of "whenever the gun starts cycling improperly." The whole point of preventative maintenance is to swap the springs before that happens. Those of you that own a Micro Eagle - how many rounds before your recoil springs wore out? If you have one and haven't worn out the springs yet, post your round count, that will help give me an idea as well. Thanks.

Well I've got 600 through mine, and the springs are starting to loosen up a bit. Hopefully I'll have it up to 1000 this weekend and see how the springs hold up. I've always been under the impression that the smaller the gun, the faster it eats springs. I need to replace my PPK/s springs every 1500 or so, so I'm thinking that the Micro Eagle will be significantly less, unless the dual recoil spring design somehow has great longevity.

I'm guessing I have about 300 rounds through mine and the springs are fine.

The Micro is not a lot of Fun to shoot so my round count is not very high, but the pistol has been flawless through the approximate 300 rounds I have put through it.
