I have an AR-15 with a shell deflector wart on the lower. Do people do anything to protect the finish on these things, or do they just let the casings gradually destroy it?
Wipe off the brass blemishes, hit with alumablack every 20,000 rounds.
Personally, I find the Velcro to be tacky. It’s a bolt on spoiler on a Kia.

This is why internet and guns shouldn't mix, especially ar-15s!Arrow rest pad for a dropaway should be about the right size.....And you leave my kias spoiler alone!

I just wasted 5 min trying to figure out what on earth a KIA was (as an acronym associated with ar 15 or any gun for that matter, NOT killed in action) and WHY it would need a spoiler(let alone a bolt on)! Shame on BOTH of you!!!
Lol
Like a cci hybrid? It won't hurt anodized, and cleans up like 12Bravo20 says. Other finishes might be damaged by it, and if you don't want the damage, the velcro trick works.
Maybe if he'd have said Kia Stinger?
Baaaahahahah, you dug your own rabbit hole that time! This is why internet and guns shouldn't mix, especially ar-15s!

If anyone puts a bolt on, on a Stinger, I will find them and murder them with a plastic spoon.........Maybe if he'd have said Kia Stinger?
That like a hollow point green tag?Like a cci hybrid?
Nobody tell the guys with shell deflector protectors what the incandescent plasma is doing to the throat of the barrel with every shot.
