You are within road trip distance of Midway in Columbia and Grafs in Mexico. For bullets, check out the Sierra plant north of Sedalia for factory seconds.

Supplies

Mountain grove has a small gun and tackle shop that has powder and projectiles. We have a vacation home in vanzant. I have been to every gun store for 100 miles. Not a lot of reloading supplies. Drive to bass pro in springfield. It is the corporate hub and has everything you need

Welcome to THR!

Born and lived most of my life in and around Joplin. Never made it to Lake of the Ozarks.

Hoping you find your reloading supplies! :)

One of the biggest Bass Pro's I have ever seen is in Springfield they carry reloading supplies....also check the local gun shops in and around you area...I was able to find powder and primers in SE Missouri during the shortage when I went to my brother's place in Popular Bluff when I could find anything here in Texas

I live around Springfield and there are a few places besides bass pro however none close to Lake of the Ozarks. Good luck in your search.

I'm not sure if Brent @ 417 guns still has reloading stuff. He moved spots in the strip mall he was in and last time I was in there he did not have anything as his stuff previously was handled by someone else.

If you are looking for reloading supplies don't waste time going to Bass Pro in Springfield, they haven't had much for a while, they occasionally get some powder in but its hit and miss, same with bullets. I am in Springfield every week and normally drop into BPS to see if they have the powder I want, so far nothing. For anything but powder/primers Midway or one of the other mail order places seems to be more reliable. Powder has been very hit and miss everywhere. There is a place north of Clinton that a buddy found me some IMR 4895 and some .22 LR ammo, I will try to find out the name of the place.

Your best bet with Bass Pro, is to watch online. When they get the powder you're looking for on their site. You can make your purchase and have them ship it free to the store. Once you're notified by email that it is at the store, they give you 45 days to pick it up.

Check out Kreisler Outdoor Center in Clinton, Missouri, on the east side of the little mall with the Walmart at the intersection of Hiway 13 and Hiway 7. Small shop with both hunting and fishing gear as well as reloading supplies. It's about an hour and a half from you.

417 Guns in Springfield no longer carries reloading supplies.

In Springfield, besides Bass Pro, check out Cherokee Firearms at 1544 North National Ave. A full service gun store with gunsmithing, reloading supplies, and one of the country's best gun engravers, Jim Downing, on site.

In Bolivar, find J. D. Shooter's Supply on the west side of the town square, across the street from the courthouse. Guns, gunsmithing, some supplies.

reloader204, it looks like you might have to travel many miles if you're looking for goods that are still in short supply.

Over the last year or two, I have went out of my way from Findlay, Ohio to Dundee, Michigan trying to find powders.

You may want to consider buying online, unless you find what you're looking for on your normal route(s).

With the time and money I spent on the search, I now think it is better to fork over the $50 or so (hazmat & shipping) and let it be delivered to my house. And some places have free shipping on their bullets.

Here are a few online stores I visit often.
