In my search for a small carry gun I've now gone through both a PT709 Slim and a TCP. Initally I thought well of them but they both developed issues where they would not fire. I'm not going to bash the "Bull" but for me personally, I'm done with the brand.
Moving on, I picked up a LC9s yesterday in hopes that stepping up in price/brand might result in better reliability. I went and put about 100rds through it today with zero issues whatsoever. First impressions are I like this gun, A LOT. Wonderful trigger and the build quality seems on another level compared to the Taurus' I had.
Both targets were at 35ft. First one was slow shooting taking my time and getting familiar with it. First shots were the middle group, second shots were bottom groups and top groups were last. the X's were POA.
Second target I realized my hour was closing fast so I just shot almost as fast as I could since my main goal was to just get rounds through the gun for reliability. I was happy just to get all shots on the paper.
Hopefully this gun will be as reliable as all the hype out there claims.
