Should I be ok with this? (CZ SP-01)

So I finally took apart my CZ SP-01 to clean it (took a while to get the cleaning stuff in :p), and noticed a few imperfections. The first one seems inconsequential and nitpicky, and I dont think #2 is actually anything, but #3 seems not right. I apologize in advance for the bad pictures. The gun was sold new in box and wasnt handled by the public. I will number these and you guys can decide whether this is acceptable or not:

1)This I dont really care about much. There are are a couple spots where there is a little raised speckle or two:

(there are a couple other ones to the right of this that I couldnt get in a picture, but they were even smaller)

2)There are like, little notches in the underside of the rail. Here is one, but there are other spots that show too:

3)This, unlike the others, I think actually is a problem. There's a little spot that seems the polycoat is marred under the safety when I raise it. It also doesnt even bother me much because I rarely use the safety.

What do you guys think? For #3, the only one I'm really worried about, it seems almost everyone thinks its completely normal and was probably caused by the people who tested it at the factory. I figured I'd ask because I literally have had zero experience with firearms up until this point.

I suppose, depending on what you're expectations are... it's all unacceptable, or for what it is, perfectly normal. My CZ, not a problem... because I don't get too spun up about a carry gun getting a few boo boos. On the other hand, your gun, your aesthetic... and your call.
I'll tell you this, CZ is pretty darn good about warranty, an although they may not see what you see with as critical an eye... they'll do their reasonable best to see that you're a happy camper.

Normal wear around the safety. Most likely from being flipped in the shop frequently.

These are all normal. I've had tons of brand new guns that had minor imperfections like this. None of these things will have any effect on function, I'm sure you'll be pleased with your purchase, CZ pistols work very well.
 
Cut the guy a break guys, he's a new gun owner just checking if these things are normal. I remember wondering if small imperfections were a big deal at one point too.

At a certain price point ($600+) I want the gun to be damn near perfect.
 
Functionally, not an issue. However, my SP-01 which I run cocked and locked (meaning I use the safety a lot!) doesn't have that marring underneath the lever. I'm about 1200 rounds into shooting mine, so it's not brand new anymore.

I would call and talk to customer service if it was my gun, because while I don't mind normal wear, aesthetically that would bother me. It looks like it's rubbing on the down side of the lever movement, but not really close to the up position. Makes me wonder about how it's fitted, or why it's rubbing such a mark just right there...

It's not something that would affect the reliability, but it is something that would make me question the fit and finish of the gun. I don't think you'd be out of line questioning them about it.
 
I would call and see what the deal is I have 10k+ through my CZ 75b and there so no mark under the safety.
 
There is a plus/minus factor on ANY-EVERY assembly line product. If you bought it to put in a museum YES send it back. If you bought it to shoot it WILL get marks, spots, scrapes, and minor issues.
 
IF YOU don't feel safe with it, call CZ, or take it back to the dealer.

My experience with CZ is somewhat limited, as the only one I own is a CZ 83 but, in my opinion, they are one of, if not the, most reliable weapons on the market. I had my 83 at the range in East Texas one very windy day, when my range bag and all the contents where blown off the bench into the sand, gravel, and dirt below. Mostly due to the way I had things set up. Anyway. After picking my various equipment, I went back to shooting, and the last thing I had picked up was the 83. I really didn't see just how dirty she was till I had emptied almost three clips. It was on the last few rounds when I noticed the caked sand being knocked off the slide and coming from the ejector area that I stopped firing. Needless to say a close inspection and cleaning was in order.

After my general cleaning and inspection, I took to my local Smith. He said he saw some MINOR pitting from the factory and absolutely NO damage that would hinder my pistol lasting me, or my children a lifetime or three done by my impromptu endurance test.

That was about two years ago. I've put over 1500 more rounds down the pipe without a single hiccup.
 
Every gun will have a few issues if you literally put them under a microscope.

To people questioning how safe the gun is because of a scrape under the manual safety, are you guys kidding me?
 
I emailed em. I figure worst case is they'll say no and it wont matter, lol.
 
The warranty guy is pretty cool. So far he says it shouldn't be there, but it's not a big deal and if I go to a gunsmith I should get a drop of blue on that spot and it won't rust (especially since its under the safety).

I told him I'd rather not do that because I'm nowhere near a gunsmith and I don't want to spend more money than I have, and that if he thinks I should send it in I will. We'll see what happens next.

He's going to tell you that it really is no big deal and that you're wasting time by sending it in, or else he should tell you that.
 
He sent me this:

If it was me I wouldn’t worry about it, a gunsmith should cold blue it for next to nothing, if not free, it would take them 1 minute of time. If you really want you can send the pistol in we would probably replace it with a new one, or if you would be satisfied we could cold blue it for you. Up to you, its pretty minor though.

I'll probably send it in later if I'm still annoyed, provided they don't want me to pay for shipping. I don't mind not having it for a while since I don't shoot often. We'll see though; doubt I'll do anything.
 
You'll have to pay shipping in to the factory for something cosmetic.
 
Shoot it and put it through it's paces. Then when it needs some loving you could always do this.

Nice 75B, I really wanted the polished stainless before I saw this. Oddly enough, the 75B is not nearly as comfortable for me.

I probably will just keep it and not worry about it. Beyond excited to shoot this thing! :)

Here are a few more pictures to see if you guys think its worth it or not. I could swear there is a little sliver of bare metal peeking out but I dunno; figured I'd show you just to make sure since I am literally clueless lol.
