Still going on

I went everywhere in town yesterday and today to find 1 pound of H335 gunpowder. Not so much as a grain could be found. I call Scheels (I know one of the managers) and he told me since Thanksgiving he has ordered in 800 pounds of gunpowder and he is still out. Guess when i find some I better buy a 4 pounder.

Is this trend still going on everywhere else?

Yep, went to three local shops plus Cabelas not one pound to found. Varget is a good substitute and they was available at Cabelas. I've put in an order at my favorite shop for 4 pounds myself two weeks ago, not in yet.

Same thing here. When I could get it I got 3lbs and still have 1.5 so I need to start looking.

Not only is it 'still going on" but will take MONTHS to refill the suppy pipeline. Manufacturers are commonly stating 6 month back logs, many small shops that used to do custom work as fill in jobs are now jumping in to fill the gaps and participate in the increased demand.
before Nov gun sales (and related stuff) was up about 10% nationally, since the election the numbers are OVER 50% increases. I have talked with dealers, its not just the "gun nots" stashing stuff but older folks and newbies are buying guns for the first time in their lives....
