Walker Avenging Angel

I shot it yesterday in the late afternoon/early evening. My friend filmed it on his phone so I will try to upload it onto youtube to share. It was quite an experience!

I've got a Stainless ROA that has some very noticeable pitting on the last 1/2 inch of the barrel from the previous owner leaving it in a wet holster. I've been planning to cut her down to 5.5" but maybe I should go shorter. Hmmmm... what to do?

Awesome! I could never do that to my beautiful new Walker, but I have a slightly rough old used Pietta 1851 Navy that I bought for $100......

not really Malachi, it's just that if the interior of the barrel was good, like Rondog, I'd have a hard time doing it, and if the barrel were pitted, with a damaged crown, why, that would be a little easier [for me, YMMV] to cut down...

You should turn it into one of these then. I made this out of a Pietta:

Makes me yearn for my Remy Gunslingers to make a reappearance.....or maybe just do this to some Colt repro's too.
So many ideas, so little time and less money.
If I did that to a Walker I could be "Hand Cannon Harper" and I here by reserve that name. LOL!

Being somewhat C&B "challenged", I gotta ask - how do you load these sawed-off pistols with the loading levers removed?

rondog,

I was actually a little unprepared when I went to my friends house to fire the Walker. He's got like 7 Dragoons so he had everything else needed to load and fire it. I ended up using a long brass screw and tapped the ball in with a hammer. I'm probably going to make something out of one of the old Walker loading levers I have kicking around.

I'd call it the Fire Walker! I would love to see some night pics of that shooting some bad a flames and smoke , that would be something.
