Hi, guys, new member here, I have been searching the web, this forum and a few other forums for Wisconsin state knife laws. So far all I have been able to find out is that you can't have auto knives or balisongs and you pretty much can't carry a concealed knife unless its a folder. I believe this info is up to date and current. I am looking for the current max blade length and what exactly are the laws for fixed blades for either concealed or open. If anybody can help me that would be great. If you could give a link or information on where you got your info from that would be great. Thanks for all your time,
Magic

As for the rest, I believe you need to check local ordinances. For example, in Milwaukee fixed blades and any knife with a blade length of three inches or greater (including folding pocket knives) are dangerous weapons "per se" and are prohibited. Of course, remember you got this advice on the Internet and it's probably worth exactly what you paid for it. :D

Other WI cities/towns are probably different. For real good advice check out a dedicated knife forum such as www.bladeforums.com or www.knifeforums.com . You should be able to find someone there who knows WI's knife laws better than I do. :)

Edit: Here's a good thread to check out: http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=189095&highlight=blade+length+limit
