Sako Bavarian 22.5 inch barrel.
The one I vote for is the one I have:
You didn't have Blaser or Sharps-Borchardt (obviously would have to be a custom rifle on that action) listed, so I picked Remington, as in 40-XB.
If price were not a consideration and you could only have one bolt action .308 rifle to suit all your needs (hunting, target shooting, etc.), which manufacturer would you choose? What model and barrel length? If it's not listed, please post it.
Thanks!
nice rifle but almost $3000. hard to beat for the money?I'll just leave this here.

But seriously, the Tikka T3 is hard to beat for the money, no matter what configuration it's in. That's why it got my vote.
Yea, sorry didn't see that. So get a CTR for $900. Then you can it in .260!nice rifle but almost $3000. hard to beat for the money?
now that's more like it lol. I love the 260Yea, sorry didn't see that. So get a CTR for $900. Then you can it in .260!
Honestly when I said hard to beat I had the T3 Lite in mind.

nice rifle does not look like it has seen hard hunting stock is real niceI would spend the "money no object" dollars on something else and just stay with the only .308 rifle I own.
Remington Seven .308
it is a gorgeous rifle and it is plain to see why they make synthetic stocksYou're right...not hunted hard. Like all of us here I have more rifles than I need. This one is part of the rotation. I shot two deer with it this past season.
