I have very specific likes in a revolver, a comfortable hand filling grip, 3" barrel, prefer non-fluted cylinder, prefer brushed stainless, really like the GP100/K/L-frame size.

very drawn to this S&W

this GP 100 .44 spc is on my want list

I'm not a J-frame fan but if given a chance I would add this one to the safe

Finally one of my grail guns if I ever win the lotto and find someone willing to part with one, a Lew Horton 624 N-Frame

eccentric taste? maybe, but this is the kind of wheel gun that moves me, what trips your trigger and sends your hand digging for your wallet?

I like Ruger single actions and S&W double actions!

Howdy

I have pretty specific tastes in revolvers too.

Nothing new.

Where should I start? Here are a few.

Hi...
Not very specific but I really like SAA clones from Uberti and Cimarron, as well as Ruger BlackHawks and Vaqueros. Added altogether I probably have somewhere between 20 and 30 of them.
Have several N and L frame S&W revolvers.
I like the Colt Troopers...have a couple of them.
Also a fan of the Dan Wesson DA revolvers, I have three and always looking for a deal on another.

I'm partial to S&W revolvers. I've been concentrating on looking for an example of each of the common barrel lengths of steel K frame models with adjustable sights.

I have gotten a few N frames along the way though including my trio of Model 25-5s

Model 16-0 through -3 (model numbered K-32s) are my real holy grail at the moment. Unfortunately, they are few and far between, about 3000 produced of all pre-model K-32s through the Model 16-3 and they make a Colt Python look economical.

Pretty much got to go with what CraigC wrote:
Is "all of them" specific enough?

Use to have a lot more in my collection early on but I followed the lure of the semi-auto and sold or traded many of them away. Nowadays I have a few single actions (mostly Ruger), and a couple of double action revolvers (all of them S&W). So definitely no specific tastes in revolvers; might pick up one of the new Ruger GP100s in .44 Special and will wait and see what Colt is going to do with their new wheel gun line-up.

I'm liking alot of the newer stuff from Ruger, I'm excited to see what Colt rolls out next and I'm probably most edge of my seat to see what else Kimber has in mind.

Kimber may yet roll out a hammer version of their K6, or maybe a range/hunting gun to compete with the 686/GP100 market.

The lure of new snake guns from Colt is strong though.

After way to many years trying different brands and finishes I now own only stainless steel S&W revolvers from .22 LR up to .44 Mag.
Depending on what they're used for barrels run from 2 1/2" to 8 3/8".

I have no revolvers at this time, but I do have this Ruger New Vaquero in .45Colt on my shortlist:

I'm mostly a DA S&W kinda guy, but I do really like the idea of a polished 4&5/8th" Ruger bisley 44mag Blackhawk.

For those heavy loads i don't want to run in my 629

I have a particular fondness for cartridge conversions and snubbies. Pietta 1858 in .45 Colt

Cimarron Richard's-Mason in .38 Special

Pietta 1851 .44- This will be getting a Kirst gated conversion in .45 Colt

Of course my tastes are eclectic...

and in Nickel.

I am really fond of S&W stainless, 5" barrel, full underlug. When I first handled a used 625 (.45 ACP) I was hooked. Bought it and truly fell in love. Now I own several models in several calibers, all fitting the general description.
