Hey everyone I'm looking for a new ccw a da/sa pistol I was looking at the cz p07 at my lgs it's nice I like it but what else is out there and my budget is around $550

Let me know what other pistols are out there in da/sa thanks everyone

I'd recommend looking at a Sig SP2022. They can typically be had NIB for right around $500.00. A new entrant in the DA/SA category is the Springfield XDE. If you don't mind a used gun, I'd also recommend a Sig P239, or if you can track one down one of the old school P225's or P6's.

Great advice from Winkman 822. I second the notion of a SIG P2022, P239, or a vintage P6/P225. Maybe even check out some of those used S&W all metal semi-autos (the Third Gen. were some of the best), that turn up every so often.

If I were looking with your budget, NEW would be a P2022. USED, the old Ruger P series are good guns that can be found pretty darn cheap. I picked up a used one about a month ago for $225.

If you like the P07, buy it. CZ makes a great pistol. I've owned a P07 and carried it often. It's reasonably lightweight, has a decent trigger, is tough, and never malfunctioned. What's not to like? The only reason I still don't own mine is I needed a quick $500 and sold it. I'd readily buy another.

I will look into that about the sig p225/226

I had a cz before I had to sell it I loved it alot and the p07 is light I liked that and it's very nice in the hand

CZ-75D PCR, which is about the same size, and weight as the excellent P-07. Also the new P-10C is getting great reviews.

I had the full-sized version, the P09. It was an excellent pistol. I doubt you could go wrong with the P07. Lots of people like it.

I got a PX4 last week and am pleased with it. The quality of manufacture seems very high and they are quite affordable these days.

If you want a P07, grab it. I had one and it was the best polymer pistol I ever ran. I only sold it because I liked my P01 better and knew the P07 wasn't going to get shot much.

I was looking at the p01 I found them online it's hard to fine them they are always out of stock and how do you like the p01 is it a lil better then the p07?

I've owned the PCR since 2000, and it has been my main CCW. I don't need a light rail on a carry gun so prefer it over the P-01. Nothing wrong with the P-01 though. It is also a great gun.
Yeah I'm looking for them like that because I'm gonna carry it with a light

You're on the right track with CZ. Best DA/SA out there.

The P07 was VERY good. I'm mostly a DA revolver shooter and found the first shot DA to be plenty light, but most importantly very smooth with a good break. The single action trigger was as light as I'd care for in a carry gun with less creep than any other polymer handgun I've shot. It was a great duty trigger.

I knew from the beginning that I WANTED the P01 more, but yeah they can be hard to find. I had been spoiled by the ergonomics of my full size 75B SA and knew the P01 would feel very similar. But I stumbled on a P07 gen2 for $350 and snapped it up figured why not. It served well until I found a P01. After I got the P01, I never shot the P07 again and traded it off. I'd say they're functional equals, the P01 just fit me better.

Sticking with a cz can never be a fail. I don't see them much here. I've always wanted the 75b

All three of the ones I've owned were bought online. I did find a local shop that had a few, but nothing I wanted (stainless 75B, and a SP01 Tactical in 40sw) but I loved the ergonomics and trigger so took the plunge online.

For those requirements and price point the P07 or a CZ 75 compact (several variants) are going to be hard to beat.

The Sig P225 is nice if ya like a single stack but finding a nice one for less than $550 is getting harder every day, the days of $300 imports are long past, sadly.

The Sig 2022 is nice and at that price point but definately a larger gun for carry.

After Springfield's shenanagans supporting that anti-gun law (you can find plenty of info on that around) I won't even recommend them... at least for a while yet.

Yeah I don't wanna buy a Springfield because of what they did and I think I'm gonna buy the p07 or the p01 I found a p01 online
