What is a "weekly rotation" as it applies to concealed carry? You change guns every week or during the week?

Why would anyone do that?
I have 4 guns I carry for ccw. And yes I rotate them throughout the week as I see fit or as my needs change.

Speed Six
Taurus 85
Rossi 720
S&W Shield

I am curious as to what is meant by a "weekly rotation" for a ccw gun. I understand a different gun for hot weather or cold weather, but I don't know what changes by the week to need a rotation of guns.

Jerry it is just preference. I I like carrying the 357 some days, then the 44 Special another. Or the 38 and then the 9mm. I shoot em all good and the guns are great carry pieces.
Variety is the Spice of life !!!!!

I have never understood that either. I have seen folks go from plastic to steel, 1911 to revolver; WAY too many different types and manual of arms
Indeed! I have my Thunder 380 for EDC and it's fine.
Rotations remind me of a friend years ago who had three Harleys, an early Sportster, a Knucklehead and a Shovelhead. All three had different shift/brake setups. Early Sportsters shifted on the right like the British bikes they were marketed against, the Knuckle had a hand shift and the later Shovelhead shifted with the left foot. Would be like me going from my Thunder with the right thumb safety to my wife's Five Seven with the index finger safety. Not good in a moment of stress and needing to fall back on muscle memory.

Many ignored that you have to carry concealed to play on this question. .357 Magnum in a serious loading is a challenge.

I've done it a few times with my dad's Police Service Six, the gun he carried during a brief stint as a rural, high-country Colorado deputy. The gun became mine when he passed in 2010, and it sometimes gets carried around that anniversary. When it does, it rides in an IWB holster worn between the pants and belt.
