next step:
cci target ammo looks good and is my choice for best group. note: i'm shooting all these sitting against my truck tire resting the gun on my knees and two handed (except for the 380 auto target).
the cci stinger group is good, but I had a ftf which lead me to find out the magazine I was using was bad (the bullets and the case were being dented on loading).
the minimag group is also very good. i'm not having much luck in picking a "best" round for this gun.
here's another group of the cci target ammo. this group is even better.
the win power point group is all over the place and is rejected.
the win superspeed group is alright and very round, but not as tight as the cci groups, so, it's a reject.
so, this gun gets the cci target, cci stinger and cci minimag rounds. the target is the cheapest, so I probably will run a lot of that.
I also need to test the federal automag again, as I have remedied the loose sights and bad mag.
and one last pic of another test i did today of rmr 95 grain fmj bullets out of my ruger lcp II:
most of the bullets went high so the target will be lower next time.
the rmr load is not accurate enough, yet. my carry load is still the 100 grain lrn load. i'm still tweaking the fmj load, so who knows.
murf
p.s. I forgot to mention that I only had two cups of coffee this morning, in stead of my normal 12-cup pot of coffee. that may have something to do with the slight shrinking of the groups today.
