I see your in Wis your Deer can get big Have you given any thought about a 44 or 45 but out of the two I would go with the SBH with the 7" barrel

Gp100. Blackhawks are for bigger cartridges IMO.
A time proven classic. Your great grandson will be carrying that long after you and I have turned to dust. My Blackhawk turned me into a reloader.
When I bought my first GP100 years ago, I tried a number of different grips, thinking that I would find something more comfortable. I never did. It's still wearing its factory grips and probably always will. The original-pattern GP100 factory grip is absolute perfection, for my hands, so I am biased toward the GP100, for that reason.

I picked up my 6.5in stainless Blackhawk this afternoon. Once I pick up a couple boxes of ammo I'll put it through its paces.
In the meantime here she is!!View attachment 920314
Btw her name is Maggie.
Thx to @Obturation for the name suggestion.
I didn't think you'd make a mistake, and you sure didn't. Do let us know how she performs on the range, please.
Hmm. Maybe i'll have to look for one. Actually a cylinder for .38 Super would be pretty neat.GP-100 get's my vote, however if the Blackhawk is a 357 Mag with 9mm extra cylinder then it's a toss up.
