The bad news: Your local authority has mandated that they will not approve of more than 5 firearms of all types for any one individual. This includes rifles, shotguns, pistols and revolvers.

The good news: Select fire weapons can be included. Supressors are not an issue.

The really, really bad news, you have a budget of 100000 SEK but you can pay US firearm prices without any transit fees.

This is just the firearm cost, not including scopes, slings, supressors, extra mags, etc.

You cannot include firearms you already own ... ie. you need to but them again.

You can includes deals less than MSRP but you will need to provide a link to such.

What firearms will you get ?

Select fire weapons can be included. . . you can pay US firearm prices without any transit fees.
Not really compatible here, since select fire is no more expensive than semi-auto but for NFA a uniquely American perversion.

Excepting that:
- any PDW in 9mm, with a folding stock, 3-position FCG, irons, and a light. An MP5 or a Sig MPX would do, just for giggles.
- a nice Tikka in .375 H&H or a 7mm cross-canyon cartridge, for reaching way out there.

Remember, the Swedes are subjects, not citizens. They have no recognized right to keep and bear; this is just an alternative to ice fishing for them.

Same as I would do anywhere else. A nice bolt action, a decent shotgun, a single action revolver in 22lr/mag convertible, a 357 double action revolver of reputable quality that does not say Colt on it, and an m32

blaser R8 and extra barrels. Decent pump gun, Decent autoloader, Decent revolver.....dunno what the "decent" guns would be, but if you give me money right now i want a R8 to play with.

I would get a Carl Gustaf M/45 submachine gun and any money leftover would go to a handgun (probably a Browning Hi-Power or an HK VP9), and all the 9mm. ammo and magazines I can find.

With the liquor and beer prices in Sweden I would spend all the money on alcoholic beverages. Beer sold in regular stores is watered down below 3.5%, real alcohol is sold in bolaget or systemet, government liquor stores.

5 guns, $11,000. That's pretty easy.

1- freedom arms 83, 454 casull, 5.5" barrel- $2000
2- glock 20- $550
3- some kind of AR, I like DD- $1500
4- Dan Wesson 715 - $1500?
5- lever action 45-70- $1000

Leaves me $3500 for a bottle of whiskey, yeah- I've had some drinks in a Nordic country, ouch.

people ‘ go outside and do something useful.
because sweden is one of the few countries that didn't go down the "covid 19" rabbit hole. you can actually shoot and go hunting there.

i would buy a swedish mauser, a glock 30 and use the rest for buying ammo.

murf

p.s. background music playing: grace slick singing white rabbit at woodstock

Yeah, I'm struggling with this because if I'm looking for something specific, I can usually find a better than MSRP price. Or something out of production that has to be used in order to find it.
How about transferring the 11 grand to my PayPal account (I'll pay the fees), then I'll follow up with a post of what I bought, complete with pics and range reports.

Nej talar svenska. If I were to go to Sweden, it would be as a tourist. And I would be more likely to visit systembolaget, as SWMBO has decreed that I may imbibe were we to visit Europe.

You can have six hunting weapons plus clay shooting shotguns, target rifles pistols and revolvers. So your gun cabinet could have well over a dozen guns in it. My LGS has many thousands of guns in stock and 250 tons of ammo. I bought 5000 CCI .22 a couple of weeks ago. Shortage of ammo? Whats that all about?
All my neighbors have guns and not one has a gun for self defense. We tend to feel safe in our own homes. For those that don't want to come to Sweden, well we won't miss you.
We have fantastic countryside with virtually not scrap or litter. The tightest moose population in the world and we can hunt all legal game with a dog. Most towns have a rifle range that is neat and tidy. I understand that many in the US are not.
We have a health service that is very good and free at point of use.
Every year there is a ranking of the best places to live in the world and If its not Australia then its Scandinavia that tops the list. Whilst you may say to yourselves that the US is the best place on earth to live. Keep telling your self that it may come true one day.
Now I must go to my rifle range in my back garden and practice my off hand shooting ready for the moose season in 3 weeks time

There is a proud national narrative of “Swedish Exceptionalism” for welcoming refugees and providing asylum. While Swedes might have guarded their ethnic homogeneity before the 1930s, by World War II, Sweden began accepting Norwegian, Jewish, Danish, and Estonian immigrants. In the decades following, they welcomed Iranians after the Islamic revolution, Chileans fleeing Pinochet, and war refugees from the former Yugoslavia. Being a safe haven for others became a point of pride. As other European countries moved toward stricter immigration policies in the 1990s and 2000s, Sweden opened up. With some exceptions, politicians on both the left and right supported generous asylum and immigration policies well above the EU-minimum standards.
All of this changed with the refugee crisis of 2015, marking the “end of Swedish exceptionalism,” when political parties changed their rhetoric and policies in reaction to fears of a “system collapse” from the massive influx of migrants. By November 2015, even the Social Democrat Prime Minister Stefan Löfven noted, “It pains me that Sweden is no longer capable of receiving asylum seekers at the high level we do today. We simply cannot do any more,” the near opposite of what he said just seven months before. By this time however, the Sweden Democrats had already seized the opportunity to position themselves as the only “authentic” party calling for curbing immigration not just recently but for decades.

The above is from a Brookings article.

Sweden is one of the few places on this earth that I would consider leaving home for. To visit. That's more than I can say for the vast majority of the good ol' USA. But, it's kinda like watching sports nowadays. I can see it in HD from my living room. Don't have to worry about parking, leaving my gun at home or in the car, drunk fans being idiotic, or long lines for food or restrooms. Haven't been to a game in years.
those that don't want to come to Sweden, well we won't miss you.
So no offense toward your country or any of it's ambassadors, but presently I'll stick with the virtual tour.
