I took the gun apart because after I put the barreled action in the Matrix chassis rounds were a touch firm to chamber, like I was seating into the lands to fire form, or maybe I had gotten careless and the shoulders weren't moved quite far enough.
After I took it out of the chassis the issue went away. Hmm, get to looking at everything and found two things.
First, the hole in the chassis for the front action screw (Supplied with chassis), was a hair off (too far to the rear by a hair), so I "lengthened" it a few thousandths.
Second, and the real issue, was the front action screw had a rub mark on the end of it, bad juju. I ground .010 off of the length and polished it.
Problem solved, action is back to slick as snot like it should be. The Impact action wrench and the SAC barrel vise made disassembly/reassembly easy as pie. Naturally I cleaned the action all up real well while it was off the barrel. I ran one wet patch through the barrel, so it still needs cleaning from shooting the Altus match.
