Did I ruin my die?

I was loading some 9mm and a couple would not drop in the case gauge. So thinking or maybe I wasn't, I decided to try to run them through the Bulge Buster. Well you guessed it, I used my 9mm Luger FCD and now there is a loaded round very, very stuck in it. Is there a safe way to remove it or do I just order another 9mm Luger AND 9mm Markov die?

I Managed to get one jamed in my 9mm markof die. Scarry Stuff. did manage to get it out but in hind site probably should not of done it. Will not try to put a loadded round thru it again. Does not work well even with 9mm empty casses. If I had it to do over again I would probably just have tossed the die.

I would treat it like a barrel with a live round stuck in the chamber. Cut your losses. . .
You would dispose of a barrel with a round stuck in the chamber? Why?

My first move would be to clear off any of the die top that will unscrew, flip the die over upside down (screw in from the underside) and press the cartridge out much the sale way you pressed it in there.

If that doesn't work, we'll need a picture to see what's stuck where.

There's nothing magical about a primer. Don't hit it, or heat it, and it won't go off.

I was going to comment on primers and not that bad.... but, agree... chunk it and get another die

Well, drilling the case slowly so as not to build up heat (I'd use a hand drill) would allow you to extract the powder. Then pop the primer using proper PPE and use a stuck case tool to yank the case from the die.

I was also going to say, bang on it like a hammer bullet puller.... but, yeah, just chunk it

I think I would build a small fire and toss the die in. The resulting bang would most likely take care of the stuck case issue before the heat did much at all to the die.
come on man, we can’t give moderately dangerous advice that would work. Us reloading vets are supposed to be a good influence on neebies. I mean, don’t take a backwards 4” stud nail and bang it out

'Forward' ain't gonna happen
'Reverse' is the only direction we're left with.
But, if one is unsure of how to accomplish it with reasonable expectations of safety, replacement of the die is the best option.

But it’s not a barrel/chamber and it’s not just a primer, it’s a loaded round in a $30 die. Have you actually removed one?
