One week ago I purchased a gun on GunBroker for a seller that's listed as A+. As of today they still have not shipped. In fact on my GunBroker Page the item is listed awaiting shipment.
I tried sending them a message through GunBroker but I just get a robo response about my order is being processed then I looked on the internet and found a phone number for them I called but I just get telephone tag messages your call is being transferred and then it rings and rings and rings and no one picks up.
Am I being impatient should I give them more time and if not what options do I have?

How did you pay for the transaction? Most want a money order. Could be they haven't received your payment yet, some mail is very slow, other mail gets there in a few days.

It just may be that shipping is slow in that area right now.
I've only bought one from gb and I too got a little nervous. But you are purchasing through a reputable selling sight so you shouldn't have any problems. It's nothing like sending a money order or check to an individual then hoping they are on the up n up.

My wife ordered vitamins in the mail a few weeks ago. It took nearly two weeks whe normally it just takes a couple days. That was right after the big storm that swept from the west into Texas.

Gun Broker- Send a fax containing FFL, address ship to info. The order number of your items. Your name, to the seller.

The FFL is availible to the seller rignt on GB. Plus sent 2 other emails with FFL info. Still didnt ship.

The fax is what got the 2 guns shipped for me.

My feedback on the seller
C: Slow shipping. Bought & paid for on Dec 30. Received by my FFL on Jan 18. Sent ffl license by email, 2 time. Got no reply. Sent fax with FFL, order # & my name. Then guns shipped in 2 days Fedex

I should have made it clear that the item has not been shipped GunBroker will notify you when the item has been shipped so it's not a matter of the shipping being slow it just hasn't been shipped at all

My FFL is registered with GunBroker so they automatically notify the seller but just to be sure I called my transfer FFL I know a guy that works there and he promised me that he himself sent the information to the seller

I guess I'm just being impatient it's this Amazon world we live in couple of months ago I ordered something on Amazon at 9 at night and I got it at noon the next day unbelievable

Be patient. Give it a few more days. Times are nuts right now.
I guess that's the part that bothers me the most they won't answer my messages I mean how long would it take them to send me a email to GunBroker that says hey all these Millennial women are ordering guns and we're swamped!:(

Most A+ sellers will ship shortly after receiving payment. Give it a little more time. An A+ feedback is only warranted if they ship promptly after receiving payment. At this point, they only deserve a B rating IF the item is exactly as described.
On another note, if a seller doesn’t leave me, the buyer, feedback, an A is the most I’ll give them.

Good thing you paid with a credit card. If the itemm is not recceived, you have recourse to get your money back.
If you contact your CC company, they may initiate a contact with the seller. I would not do so unless it has been 30 days or more. Then all bets are off and I would file a claim with my credit card.

ETA: Don't bother with GB's customer service. It doesn't exist.

right now it is not uncommon for places to take 5-10 business days to ship. Good vendors will put that in their item description so it doesn't take you by surprise.

I guess my real complaint is their very poor communication or the lack of it I understand if you're busy you're busy I worked at a place that made eyeglasses and we got a contract with a big national chain and we had thousands of work trays I mean thousands of them sitting in piles and each one of them somebody's pair of glasses but you know what we did we made sure that we communicated with people and let them know there was going to be a delay it's just basic common courtesy and customer service. For this place their customer service sucks!

I'm seeing messages on webpages of all kinds of companies about how swamped they are and how they've stopped answering phones and emails. Armslist. Midway. Etc.

I don't know what company you're dealing with, but if it's a company, give it time.

I mailed 3 checks last month for gun related stuff. One check got across the country in 4 days. One got the next state over in 4 days. One went to lalaland and spent 2 weeks getting to its destination a couple hundred miles away. I was ready to cancel the check and send another one when I got the message that the check finally made it.

give it time but message the seller asking if he got payment yet. New Gunbroker is easier to use but it’s not as easy to find info.

West Ky: they got their money the first thing I did was check with my credit card company to verify they received payment. But hey I hear you guys I just need to be more patient I've been spoiled by Jeff Bezos

I missed the part about electronic payment. There may be other issues at play. Private party sellers sometimes have trouble figuring out how to ship. Dealers sometimes have trouble communicating with each other to exchange info to legally ship (copy of FFL). Sometimes the guy on the other end of the internet has life issues to deal with like covid or a sick family member that takes up time. There’s no excuse for poor or no communication, but things do happen. You will get your goods or you can take it up with the credit card company.

A+ with 4 transactions s or A+ with thousands?

Is their a phone # for the seller? Call them

Over 3000 there's a phone number with a voice menu no matter what number you choose the automation says your call is being transferred and then it rings and rings and rings and no one ever answered tried all five of the options same thing.
As I said previously you can send them an email through GB but they won't answer it I mean come on who doesn't have time to answer an email? it takes 15 seconds. There's a lot of people out of work right now if they're that busy they've got to be making money hire an effing person to answer the effing email! Or Here's a thought answer the phone!:fire:

Sorry to hear about your situation. I've been ripped off by sellers on GB so many times -- even by sellers with an A+ rating and hundreds of sales -- that I can't keep track. My success rate on GB is just about 50% while it's 100% on other sites. I go through the "official process" on GB and nothing happens. The sellers have even relisted the same item within hours of me telling GB that it's a rip off. None of the negative feedback that I've left every has appeared on GB! A couple of dealers I know have even found guns that had been stolen from them listed on GB and GB refused to do anything. The most popular current scam is to insist that the buyer pay with an electronic transfer -- they get the money and the buyers get the headache of trying to convince their credit card company that it was a scam. GB bans me and I register under a different name and the game goes on. Right now GB hasn't banned me yet but they blocked me from asking questions because I flat out ask sellers about issues that make me suspicious and if they're scam artists. For some reason GB doesn't allow such "offensive" (their word) questions. The only real take-away is to never risk more money than you're willing to loose. For example, right now there's an item that really interests me; I'm pretty certain it's a scam; the guy only has one sale and it appears it's to a friend of his; and he demands either a bank check or electronic payment -- no USPS money order accepted. The item will probably sell for around $1500, which is just a tad more than I'm willing to walk away from right now. The last experience with GB resulted in me lossing almost $500 and the guy is still an A+ seller. Well see what happens. Please keep us posted regarding your situation. Thanks again.

I’ve bought a couple of guns from GB recently and I’ve actually been surprised how quickly they shipped - within a day of the transaction. Even with my FFL requiring 24 hours to process the transfer I’ve had both guns in hand in less than a week. I hope you get some good news soon.

This place has over 3,000 transactions on GunBroker so I'm assuming it's not fraud it's either incompetence or they're too cheap to hire enough help they figured things are going to slow down at some point and then they'll be stuck with too much help! I will keep you guys posted on how this turns out
