A REAL Gunshop

Very cool!

My favorite gunshop had an amazing collection of deactivated machine guns up on the walls, including a Bren, Sten, '38 Beretta, M3 grease gun, Madsen, VZ26, and a Jap. Type 96 complete with bayonet.

Sadly, all gone now. The owner passed away last March and the shop died with him.

Sorry, but I am not impressed . Takes a lot more than those to make a good gun shop IMO. To me those are just novelty items and say nothing about what is important to me about what I look for in evaluating a good shop from a mediocre or bad one. Whatever turns your crank however and I fault no one for what impresses them , or what they like to see when they are shopping. Absolutely no insults intended, to each his own.

I was offered a WWI Cannon which would make a nice display item. It had been on display many years ago at a local park. They removed for safety reasons as kids were climbing on it. They gave it to a local VFW post who removed it for the same reason. It now sits at a farm place. The reason I didn't take it ? It was built in 1908 and was not papered or deactivated.

Based on the look of the stuff on the walls it looks like just another pop up tacticool shop. I’m guessing this is located in a strip mall?

Are the machine guns for sale? I see tags hanging from each gun.....perhaps price tags? I believe Oklahoma is part of the United States, unlike some other.....never mind. Any gun shop that displays Ma Deuce and her little brother qualifies as a gun store in my book.

My favorite gun shop is in a strip mall....

Mainly only deals in consignments and pre owned firearms. Pretty much heaven compared to most of what’s out there now.

Anymore, it’s the only one I go to among around 10 in my area. Too many ARs and Glocks at all the others.

Only had photos of those 2 guns. They are located in the shooting range area of the building. The rest of the shop is located in another portion. They have a good selection of new and used firearms, archery, knives and reloading supplies and equipment. Gunsmith is also on located there. It is the largest gunshop in northwestern Oklahoma. Guess I could’ve posted pictures of the rest of the store.

XRing3. I like it as well. Clean. Black bear on display. Wood trim on top. Some cool vintage iron (anvil etc.) sitting around. I like walking through ANY gun shop and wish we had something non franchise owned like that here.

Very neat gun shop; something for everyone I'm thinking! Thanks for the photos, they remind me of some of the gun shops that use to be around here but sadly are long gone.
