This is for your 527 correct?
Here is a good article that explains the differences between a muzzle brake and a compensator.

And by the sounds of it, you will be better off with a compensator if shooting LRPS. A comp will help you stay on target a lot better than a brake will.
Im not sure what your shoulder OD is but id probably go with a slim, side venting brake like the Faxon Slim 3 port. A large diameter brake will look funny on that skinny barrel.Yes sir.
To be clear the OP isn't talking about an AR, He's talking about a cz 527SR...

My 527 American in 6.5 grendel was comfortable but it moved around quite a bit. Probably out weighted the SR by a a decent amount since it's barrel is 8" longer and it had a wood stock.
AR, CZ, they should weigh close to the same. Not having a CZ I used the AR as an example of what to expect from a 223 rifle when you equip it with a brake. Hardly any recoil, much more noise.
My experience is that an average ar is 1-2lbs heavier than a 527, again not going to make the gun unpleasant, but it will jump around more.AR, CZ, they should weigh close to the same. Which Muzzle Brake would you guys recommend for my 223. It kicks like a wild horse.
And thank you to everyone for helping me on my journey of LRPS.
An AAC 51-T so you can attach your SDN6 suppressor to it. the one you're going to get that is.
I don't think so. I'm just suggesting that there are other considerations to picking a flash hider/muzzle break beyond the obvious ones.Is AAC up and churning out SDN6's again?

I have the SDN6. Which one did you get?The only reason I've been looking at muzzle devices other than A2 birdcages is that I've got a whisper pickle in NFA jail right now.
