You put a Red Dot on a MK23!!!I used to hate on the Mark 23 until I shot one, now it's my favorite gun and it's been my daily carry for the last 5 years.
My Man!

I'm sorry but what? You conceal carry that?! How?I used to hate on the Mark 23 until I shot one, now it's my favorite gun and it's been my daily carry for the last 5 years.
My bad. He said daily carry and I immediately thought concealed carry while forgetting about open carry. Still that's a lot of weapon to open carry. There are areas in this country where people carry openly, also.
I do intend to get a Glock .22 conversion one day. There are also Beretta and 1911 .22 conversions but the Glock seems like the best choice in case other people wanted to shoot it or if I ever have a family and they're starting out.You need a .22 and a .32. Fun guns. I scooped up a Taurus clone of a Beretta 92 because it was pretty cheap. But it’s been an enjoyable gun. As for the Glock, well…. They’re so ugly! But good guns, and I can’t disagree about the model 19. It’s a fine candidate (maybe the best) for “if you can only have one handgun what should it be?”
I would like the .22 LCP! I always had a thing for tiny .22 pistolI recently picked up a Beretta M9-22, and it's a good shooter as well.
- If you want a .22 Glock, just get a 44. Unlike the couple of .22 conversions I've shot, they work, and work well, and you have a complete gun to boot.
So you like the Beretta 92 but not the 5906? Try a 5904, it’s an alloy frame vs stainless, so weights will be more comparable. I truly wish more people DIDN’T like the 5906. I’ve been looking for a nice one, and a 5903 as well. As to the 6906, that’s actually an anomaly in the coding system; more appropriately it should be a 6903, since it’s an alloy frame with a stainless slide. The 6904 seems tougher to find but that, to me, is the sweetheart gun in the series, and my daily carry.
I'm 6'3 and 195lbs so it's pretty easy for me to conceal large handguns. I carry it at 4 o'clock IWB in a Blackarch holster.I'm sorry but what? You conceal carry that?! How?
Yeah I shot a Colt King Cobra 3" at a range with 125 grain .357 and it really rocks your world. Thankfully my hand did not get sore and it was generally accurate.I've considered a G26 more times than I can remember, but every time I put one in my hands I remember why I don't like subcompacts.
I've considered a Kobra Carry, but I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on one gun, even the used one I found once.
Not an automatic - I've considered .44 Magnum revolvers, but then I look at my wrists and decide .357 is enough for me.
I tried several pistols, but when I held and shot a H&K VP9 my search was over. It's my Goldilocks gun.
Walther P5: Wanted this because again James Bond used it (for one movie, the lousy Octopussy) and some other appearances, but ultimately decided to skip it and eventually get an HK P9S
