I only have three, a S&W 4013 that I bought new in the early 1990’s, a Beretta 96 Centurion DAO that I bought off GB, and a Puerto Rico Policia Gen 2 Glock 22 turn n that I added a 9mm barrel and extractor to give me a 2-caliber option.
There is a CZ 75B in .40 that a LGS has for sale but it’s listed for $850 and that’s more than I want to pay for a gun I really don’t need. (If it fits a while I may go in and offer less. Or not, who knows?)
Kind of hard to see, but the PRPD patch and identifier is engraved on the slide.
Here's one of mine...a Colt Gold Cup Elite....probably the most accurate of my .40's....had the trigger tweaked but no work on the rails nor slide. 155's by Hornady are its preferred fodder with Ac#7, Herco and WSF the best powders.
I like the gun, & shoot it well, but my .45's are more accurate, some right out of the box (Colt, Ruger, Sig, & surprisingly a WWll Remington-Rand 1911A1. Best regards, Rod
(NOTE; I was not responsible for the idiot slash slide stop mark on the frame...the guy I bought it from broke it down for me and accomplished that mark of SHAME!) $635 OTD was the price in '92!)
Here's a picture of my favorite Beretta. It's a surplus mixmaster frankengun made with a DAO upper and a SA/DA frame. The upper was US and the frame is Italian, IIRC. Note the total lack of any safety or decocker whatsover. Good riddance.
The only .40 that I have. I dropped down to an 18 lb. recoil spring and shoot 180 gr. flat point over a lite charge of tight group. Shoots like a softball 45.
