Here are a couple of Rugers that made their way home to me recently. We have a Redhawk and a Blackhawk. Oddly, these are my first Ruger made revolvers. I had identified a hole in the collection that needed to be filled long ago and the right deal finally made its way to me. The price was pretty fantastic on both and I couldn’t pass up on the deal.
The Blackhawk has a good turn line on the cylinder and it looks well used. But the finish is in nice shape overall and it doesn’t appear abused. It also shoots straight. The Redhawk is in excellent condition and performs as one would expect. I always knew Redhawks were big guns and were the flag bearer for hot magnum rounds, but this is one hefty iron.
My only real complaint is that they aren’t older examples. Thanks for looking.
