I certainly do! But I'm not passing on rifles like the Savage Axis XP 270 & 30-06 that i purchased in 2020 for $24 each after rebate. I just traded the 30-06 towards a lefthanded 308 that my LGS had in the rack for a long time. We both are happy.Support the local gun stores.?

My closest Walmart has sporting goods including ammo and scopes but no guns. The Walmarts in my area are a complete "gun wasteland." Nothing to see there.
It appears that each local Walmart decides on its gun inventory, depending on the pro- or antigun sentiments in the area. Northern Virginia, where I live, is a hotbed of antigun soccer moms. Walmart wants to avoid controversy. The thing is, there's a Cabela's about 15 miles further out from Washington that's doing a brisk gun business. It's as if there's an invisible line somewhere in the outer suburbs, that when you pass it, the mindset changes completely. My closest Walmart has sporting goods including ammo and scopes but no guns.
The store 15 miles away does have guns
Not sure about Walmarts business model? The city that I live in now in WI is about pro hunting/gun as it can be. I think it has something to do with population size. As far as Virginia the 270 & 30-06 I purchased was in Petersburg VA. I was going to buy a rifle in Gordonsville VA, but couldn't because the couple of people that were trained or qualified to sell firearms were on the days off while I was there. I liked VA gun laws friendly to non residents. The more rural area the store's in, the more outdoor sports will be represented.
Almost certainly not in this millennium unless you live in Alaska. Most were gone by the mid-90’s I believe.I am rural and my Walmart is so small that there isn’t much space for it. No guns, itty bitty ammo selection.
Course the last gun I bought at Walmart was a handgun. I don’t have to tell you how long ago that was.
