Haven't used (or knowingly even seen) a YHM lower but I have been impressed with their other accessories and parts. They have all exhibited excellent machining and coatings and were available at fair affordable prices. If it is a good deal I wouldn't be afraid to give it a shot.

I've a YHM lower assembled with Rock River parts with my Spike's Tactical dedicated .22lr upper. Went together smoothly, upper and lower fit nice and tight. No failures of any kind so far with the cheap Federal Walmart bulk pack or Federal Champion -- even though Spike's says to not use non-plated ammo.

I don't put much stock in seems and machine marks. As long as it goes together, and the edges aren't so sharp they shred your hands

Anodizing is flat and even. Color has remained consistant between different batches (can't say that for all brands right now). They are a shade darker then Stags, but not pitch black. Can you see the machine marks? Yes. Do they cause any problems with assembly, function, reliability? No.

I know where you can get them for 95$ea if you get three

Nope, they are low profile cooling fins...guaranteed to keep your lower from overheating.
