Beretta received my Neos on 10/26/10 and still have not completed repairs. So last week I sent an email to Beretta customer service to inquire as to a completion time. I just told them that I loved my Neos, and that I also knew they were swamped with this recall, and that I understood that some things take time. I also mentioned that the last time I went through a firearm recall (Ruger LCP) that the manufacturer sent me a magazine and a hat as a way of saying thanks for your business. I received a quick reply that they are currently working on pistols received the week mine was, so it should be VERY soon and that I should keep an eye on my mailbox. A box showed up yesterday with a Neos magazine and a Beretta logo hat!
I just want to tip my hat to Beretta customer service. Something as small as these two freebies from a big company like Beretta go a long in showing me that they do care about me as a customer. I love my Neos.

Cool, man. It's good that you are posting the good stuff that companies do as opposed to the standard "I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT EVER AGAIN FROM BLAHBLAHBLAH". line of thinking.

I guess they got the hint :) I'll be sure to use that line if I ever have to send something in for repair ("your competitor xxxxx sent me a hat, concealment jacket, three magazines, holster and a set of night sights for my trouble").

Everything I've shot by Beretta has been top notch. They have been making guns for 500 years, so they should have things figured out by now.

Check the "sticky" in this section. The Neos may fire when moving the safety lever to the "safe". Not all are affected. For those that are affected, Beretta is performing service with no charge for the service or for the shipping. All the info is in the "sticky".

Last week I posted on another thread that I was still waiting on my Neos, day 53 and counting. The very next day I got a call from my LGS that they had just gotten it back from Beretta. Took it out yesterday, ran a couple hundred CCI MiniMags through it, and everything worked fine. Didn't think about asking for a spare mag or a free cap though.

Grip Mod?

MidwestRookie I want a neos for my 1st .22 but the grips are just too small...I <3 beretta tho..

I love the gun, but I often wear a padded half finger bicycle glove just to fill up my hand. I haven't seen any oversize grips for the Neos. Does anybody have a better solution?

Beretta Customer "No Service"

I sent my Neos off on 10/20 and they received it on 1022. I still don't have it back. They have not updated their status site in over two weeks. They claim to be working on pistols received on 10/25, but that date has been up for over two weeks. I would appreciate the customer service web site mentioned above.
I am not happy because this is the pistol I shoot with my grandson and had to rent a pistol to shoot with him at Thanksgiving. I will see him again this week and will not be able to rent a pistol this time because it is a different venue.
I spoke to the plant on 10/20 and they were not helpful, they repeated the 10/25 date. I am gald others are happy with Beretta in this situation, but I am not.
What is an LGS. Will I have to find a FFL holder to get my pistol back?

In answer to your question, LGS stands for Local Gun Shop.

I'm sorry to hear that things have slowed down at Beretta. I had originally heard about guns being done in three weeks, but I guess the word about the recall has gotten out. Based on the date you submitted yours, 10/20, and their posting that they are now working on guns received the week of 10/25, yours should be done by now. I think there is a 1-800 number on the web site. Maybe a phone call would help.

Good Luck and keep us posted as events occur.

You must be upset. Post count of 3 and they are all reposts. They're (Beretta) buried right now. I know it stinks but give it some time. If it's any consolation you're not alone. My kid's were hoping to do some plinking with my Neos over Christmas break.:( Chalking this up to the "sand papers of life".
