I see the advice of THR experts. I have always heard that the G27 was snappy. The hot little .40 was just too much for that small a firearm. Well I have owned a 27 and a 30 for over a year now and never could figure out what the fuss was about. Until last Tuesday
On my most recent range outing I put 50 rounds through the G30 then 50 rounds each through two Sig P220's. Then it was time to fire the G27. HOLY CRAP!
I finally got it. The little bugger is snappy. After shooting three pretty soft shooters I really could feel a significant difference in recoil. So I'm considering selling the 27 and picking up a 36. What do you guys think? Is the 36 too small for a .45? And before someone brings it up. No I don't think not shooting the .40 after the .45's will work.
