Cabela's in Fort Worth has pmags, but....

Fort Worth Cabela's had a bunch of bulk .9mm, .40 and .38 ammo today. I was checking out and just happened to ask the clerk if they had any 30 round pMags. Really did not expect the answer he gave, which was they are keeping them in back behind the gun counter and each customer is limited to two. He had already grabbed his three that employees are being limited to.

To top it off, they were only $12.99 each! Wish I had brought my wife and kids!

Heck of a deal. Bulk ammo and pmags back in stock. I even bought a XD9 SC from one of my LGSs. See, news of the end of the world has been greatly exaggerated. :neener:
 
I wonder if the one in Allen is doing the same. Was there over the holidays and they didn't have a single mag out visible. Pistol case was nearly empty, and I personally watched the last "assault weapon" (WASR-10) walk out the door.


Might have to stop by and see if they have any... they're a bit closer than the one in Ft. Worth...
 
Hoffman Estates cabelas is all out, has been for a while. Still kicking myself for not buying more when they were on sale. People are rocking 20 or more mags while I have only 2. :(
Ive asked a few times when the new shipment comes in only to get gunstore lies like "theyre not producing or shipping anymore till they find out what obama is going to legislate"
 
The Cabelas near me is still under construction and won't open for another couple months or so.
When they do open, they should have some good stock.

I wouldn't write it off as a lie.

I know that Olympic Arms ramped up production and stockpiled guns just prior to the AWB of 1994. I had put in an order for an OA-93 in early March of 1994 and was going to get it for $600. The company claimed they had none in stock, and then, without ever selling any, the price went to $800, then $1200, then $1800, then $2400, and I think it went even higher than that. I never saw the gun, and neither did anyone else see any of those models......until the AWB was passed. After the AWB, I saw them at every gun show I went to for nearly two years. This is one reason why I never have, and probably never will, own an Olympic Arms product.
