I think he needed a picture of a 317 .22.
It holds 8 rounds.

His only holds 5.
He must have mis-counted.

But it isn't black, and it doesn't have a shoulder thing that goes up.
But it does have a laser.

So, it should be good to go.

Here you go, the S&W Model 327, holds eight shots-

I am sure that DiFi hates them, too, 'cause of the rail.

Forgot to mention:

Select Fire feature allows a two round burst with a single pull of the triggers

Overall length less than 36 inches

Barrel length less than 20 inches

Two prominent pistol grips extending below the action

Not bad and I shoot some pretty hot stuff in mine. At ~45 ounces, its weight does a good job of keeping recoil down and mine isn't the ported model either.

Better keep a close eye on that laser, it might be enough to spot a target for a laser guided missile.

Is this legal under the new New York 7 round limit? (serious question)

Yes, but it can only be loaded with 7 rounds; one chamber must be left empty.

Loading the 8th round is a misdemeanor. :banghead:

I am not sure but I think the NY law only applies to magazines in semi-autos. Since revolvers rarely carry more than 7, I don't think "high capacity revolvers" were a target of the bill. Could be wrong as "ammunition feeding device" could be an all inclusive term.

If the law applies to fixed magazines (i.e. Garands) then it sure as heck applies to my TRR8's "fixed magazine" in the cylinder. Somehow my 8+0 doesn't add up to the 7+1 in a Coonan in The New Math.

Thank God I live in Texas. Word is we have a better shot at getting open carry this year--then we'll truly be free :)

But only when you have two guns in your hands. Sounds pretty stupid to me. But I know you are trying to make a joke relative to the new NY law. As far as I know, revolvers are not included as they do not have a detachable magazine.

How is the recoil on those 327's? I've been looking at them.
Very nice shooters, N-frame ergonomics at 35oz.

The TRR8, tactical rail revolver, is drilled and tapped for a light on the bottom and optic on top;

As you can see, the barrel is shrouded.

Here is my "assault handgun".

1.) Definitely a military weapon.

2.) Seven shot capability.

3.) Special gas seal feature making it capable of being silenced.

4.) Pistol grip.

5.) Evil black color.

If we get into the lies and distortions of the anti-gun gang, we could be here a long time. Most have told the same lies so often they actually believe them.

I know the law is poorly defined, nebulous, vague, and redundant ;)...but even I'd have to agree that a revolver cylinder is just as much an "ammunition feeding device" as an internal magazine (fixed or otherwise). IIRC, the law also applies to fixed mags (i.e. Garand) so long as they are semi-autos. The semi-auto bit is the only thing keeping these guns from being banned outright, and their owners from being forced to weld up a chamber (since that "we trust you to only load 7" nonsense is gonna go bye bye in no time flat ). And since they function like a semi-auto (one pull, one fire) it won't take long for revolvers to come into the anti's sights.

Pretty sure 8 round moonclips and speedloaders for the '27's are a no-no, and they don't really work loaded to 7  . What a strange, brave new world those poor yankees live in these days...I'll continue being a Savage, thank you :neener:

PS-for those who recall from the book, the carnal, soulless existence depicted in Brave New World was implied as isolated to a few large, dense cities, by the "field trip" taken to the vast "wilderness" where John Savage is found (and yet the uncivilized Mr. Savage knows Shakespeare ;) )
