If the law applies to fixed magazines (i.e. Garands) then it sure as heck applies to my TRR8's "fixed magazine" in the cylinder. Somehow my 8+0 doesn't add up to the 7+1 in a Coonan in The New Math.

Can the M1 Garand hold 8 rounds in the magazine with the bolt closed or is it only 7 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber?
