Sig P227 10mm? BADA$$

Yes, as in probably. But only if they they offered it in SAO with a thumb safety, or DAK.

Someone converted a p220 into a 10mm, not sure how it worked, but I would buy one only if it was all stainless with beavertail.

Buying a SIG, any model, in 10mm would not be on my purchase list.

No, but that's because I'm left-handed. Sig's are particularly left-handed-unfriendly so, despite the fact that I have great respect for them, they are off my list. However, if I was right-handed and wanted a 10 (and I likely do), I'd definitely put them at or near the top. The alternative and likely winner would be the Glock 20 though...

Meh. 45 ACP is just fine.

But, more 10mm's is not a bad thing at all.

Absolutely agree.

Sig Sauer and H&K both need to make 10mms. Sig p227 and H&K USP 10 or H&K P30-10mm.

I wouldn't buy one, but I certainly value choices so I'd be very glad to see thheir entry on the market. However, I personally prefer not having to deal with 2 trigger pulls. Ergo my preferred 10mm would be a Glock 20 given platform familiarity.

+1 on more 10mm platforms. I wish someone would get around to making a thin single stack 10mm.

I voted "no" even though I love the 10mm and would love to see more options for it simply because I have no interest in any traditional DA autos, regardless of what they are chambered in or what their capacity might be.

If it has a hammer, it has to be capable of cocked and locked carry for me to be interested in it. Period. Otherwise, I'll just roll with my Glock 20.

I'm not really sure the P227 offers anything over the P220. Two more rounds in each standard magazine is it, and a wider grip. I have heard that they share the same slide, barrel, and guide rod/spring.

How's that? Obviously that's totally subjective, but I'd like to know what makes it the best defensive handgun cartridge to you.

I'd have some concerns about a 10mm with an aluminum alloy frame.
