Sig 227 Stainless Elite or Sporter in the works?

Has anyone heard any rumors that Sig will have a P227 Stainless Elite, or even better, a Sporter version with the compensator?

I imagine yes on the Elite, maybe next year. I'm guessing no on the sporter, but I'd buy one if they offered it. Or perhaps just buy the compensator and bolt it on.

I havent heard anything. I'd like a P227 TacOps with 4-14 rd mags from the factory. That would really flip my switch.
