Long ago I built a CNC router. Have used it on many projects in the past, most often it sits idle though. From carved boxes to wall hangings, to some custom grips for a friends Llama double stack, to model airplane stuff... mostly carved wood, a little plastic here and there. I've fiddled with aluminum a few times, it can do it, but it's more of a mess than its worth.
Just curious on ideas on making stuff for reloading using the CNC. While it's pretty accurate, it's not good enough for gun smithing or similar things, but I'm thinking shell holders for reloading, holders for my turret's that have dies in them.. just wondering what I might not be thinking about since I'm just getting into reloading.
Here are some examples of stuff cut with it just so you can get a visual.
(the grips were made because he couldn't find any out there, he made plaster molds of the handle of the gun, and sent me some example rubber one's that had expanded and no longer fit, and I just measured and drew in cad, cut and tested... the one on the gun was a test fit piece I made for him, then I had to modify the holes and made a test set out of some scrap corian)
